Mai has worked with some of the world’s top design and advertising agencies, including Pentagram, Goodby Silverstein & Partners, KBS+P, and BBDO. She has also freelanced at notable firms on global brands across a range of industries.
 

As a creative director, art director, designer, copywriter, and occasional illustrator, Mai has developed award-winning broadcast, digital, and print campaigns for brands like FedEx, Guinness, and Nike. Her work has been recognized with honors from the Clios, Effies, One Show, Andys, and ADDYs.
 

Her debut short film earned a spot in Shots UK New Directors Showcase in 2006. Since then, her independently produced videos have been honored three times by the Webby Awards, where she became an Executive Member in 2014.
 

In 2018, she received a Forbes Editor's Pick for one of her first adventure photo stories, covering Beale Air Force Base and the elusive U-2 spy plane. The following year, she won first place in the PDN Photo Annual for her photography portfolio site.

Mai holds a BFA in Art Direction and Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Now based in New York City, she continues to explore new media and push creative boundaries.
